Tip #1
Make smoothies the night before. Store in an AIR TIGHT container. For optimal freshness, use within 24 hours or up to 48 hours.
Tip #2
Freeze overripe fruit like bananas & strawberries. Run frozen bananas under warm water to defrost before throwing them into the blender, or buy frozen fruit in bulk at Costco or other wholesale outlets to save even more time.
Tip #3
Prep the night before by throwing all the ingredients into the blender and putting the loaded blender right into the fridge. In the morning wake up blend and go!

Cashew Chia Dream Smoothie
When, Mike my husband is asking for seconds its a BIG deal. If you can find Lara’s brand Cashew Butter BUY it and make this smoothie… IT’S THAT GOOD!! And try not to eat the whole jar in a day or so like we did…..
1 Tablespoon Lara's Cashew & Almond butter
3/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
2 Large Frozen Strawberries
1 Tablespoon Sunflower seeds
1/2 cup Soy Milk
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
GO Green Smoothie
Got Kale? Need I say more, use the honey and a ripe banana to balance out the bitterness
First I blended 2 cups of water with 2 cups of lacinato kale.....
Then blended in:
-1 Ripe Pear, chopped fine
-1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
-1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
-1 cup Frozen Blueberries & Strawberries
-1/2 Banana
-1 Tablespoon Honey
Blueberry Kiwi Smoothie

Blend
-1/4 cup Coconut water
-1/2 cup strawberries and blueberries
-1/2 Avocado
-1 package Trader Joe's Acai
-1 TBSP Cacao Nibs
- 1 TBSP Coconut Flakes
TOPPINGS
-Pears
-Cacao Nibs
-Sunflower Seeds
-Kiwi
-Honey
Do NOT overdo the milk or you'll just have a smoothie. I had to go through three blend cycles since I didn't want to add liquid.....
